Lodge Committees
Committees form the backbone of the lodge structure. Without the help of committees there would be too
much work for the elected officers to handle. The officers are there to provide leadership and the committees
are where much of the work gets done. As an arrowman, working on a lodge committee is a great way
to provide service to the lodge.
The Lodge runs under the guidance of the Lodge Executive Committee (LEC). The LEC is comprised of the
voting youth members of the lodge. The LEC meets monthly to give direction and carry out the lodge program.
The Lodge runs with five operating committees. These include three Lodge Standing Committees
(Communications, Service, and Inductions) and two Administrative Committees (Administration and Program).
These operating committees form the five key areas of lodge operation. All of the lodge sub-committess
fall under one of the five operating committees.
